happy new year
Hi everyone and a very happy new year to you from all at Dave Williams Photography. Its been a long time since my last post ,mainly due to the fact we have been flat out at the studio since the summer and there hasnt been the usual lull in January that we have become used to. All that is good news and recent promotions with groupon and living social have gone fantastically well brining lots of new faces from far and wide to see us. Two of these new faces were kate and Michelle who travelled over from St Helens to take part in our living social boudoir promotion, just before christmas. The girls both had an album each and I have left some examples of their pictures here for you to see. Loads happening this year ,we will be out and about at lots of weddings and wedding fayres. We are also doing a lot of outdoor shoots for anyone who is interested. We continue to be inundated by people bringing their dogs in with them for family shoots ,long may this last as we love photographing pets of any sort. Hopefully it wont be as long for our next update and if you get chance have a look through our galleries ,most are updated and those that are not will be very soon.......Dave

Autumn update.
Wow what a summer that was!.Sorry for the delay in updating but if you have been anywhere near me in the last two months or so you will know how much work we have had going on. It has without doubt been my favourite summer of my photographic career (and that is saying something).Every wedding has been such fun and we have had the pleasure of working with some of the best brides and groomes you could imagine. It really has been a pleasure but its far from over yet and we have many more weddings left before the end of the year. For those of you who follow us on facebook, you will have seen examples from our weddings so far and we will continue to update these regularly between now and the last wedding of the year. For those of you who havent seen any examples here are three pictures that I think capture the spirit of what we have been doing this year. See you soon Dave

July update
Hi everyone, Well June was such a fun and eventfull month for us and July looks like being even more so.Recent weddings have included Alex and Jemma at Nunsmere Hall,Laura and Andrew at Doubleetree, the civil partnership of Sam and Nicky at Inglewood Manor and the commitment ceremony of Trish and Rodger in Hoole. As well as the Talacre engagement shoots,we have had some studio ones and also a great trip out to a farm in Knutsford to photograph Sarah and David with their horses. Six weddings in the next two weeks should keep us busy and more engagement shoots as well including Kelly and Mike later today. The studio has been busy as well and we have introduced some really cool new products to our range as well. Some new very contemporary ways to display your portraits are now available. I have posted a couple of recent pictures and dont forget you can keep up to date with us on our facebook page. Dave

Talacre day.
Wedding season is well and truly underway and I cant remember a time ever when my diary was so full. On friday I had a bit of a change of scenes though when I headed off to Talacre in North Wales to spend the day photographing a mixture of family sessions and engagement shoots.I would like to thank everyone who came for totally getting into the mood of a beach shoot even though at times the weather wasnt all that great. Steph and Ollie came up from London and had bravely booked me for their wedding before meeting me!We had so much fun doing the shoot even braving the sea at one stage and little Jamie their 11 month old soneven got in on the act. What a poser! Chris came along with her four kids as well.I photographed Chris and Bruces wedding 6 years ago (on the same day my youngest daughter was born). Will decided he was going to get as dirty as possible in as shorter time as possible as you can see from the picture. It was great to see the kids again though and fair play to them for being so good after travelling for 40 mins straight from school. The rain arrived just as we were finishing Ceri and Matts shoot but they also entered into the spirit of it all and we have some great shots in the rain! Cant wait to do it all again next year.I will be doing some more location shoots this year if anyone is interested.Send me an email for more details. Dave
